From Sweat to Suite

This is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Nothing feels better than investing your time and efforts on a project that really makes the world a better place. The return on this investment is even greater when it involves exercise and a chance to get your hands dirty. Tonight, we are offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity for two people to work side-by-side with a Trails Forever crew for one day on the Tennessee side of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You might expect to help in digging sidehill, building steps or clearing waterbars (i.e., shoveling dirt, removing vegetation, etc.). After all that hard work, you have certainly earned some R & R, and The Lodge at Buckberry Creek is just what the doctor ordered! You and your guest will enjoy a two-night stay at the Lodge at Buckberry Creek, a pristine mountainside lodge located next to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Now rest up! There is more. You will also receive the same unique opportunity to work with a Trails Forever crew on a trail on the North Carolina side of the park. And its reward is sweet! You and your guest will receive two nights’ lodging at The Swag, North Carolina Smoky Mountains’ premier country inn, selected #2 on the list of Best Small Hotels in the United States by Conde Nast Traveler. (Participation in trail work is optional.) Courtesy of The Lodge at Buckberry Creek and The Swag. Reservations are subject to availability and cannot be used on holiday or special event weekends. Package expires 1/31/2011.
